BCI Engineering Institute arranged an annual Cricket Tournament 2023 event organized by the institute where teams from Computer, Civil, and Electrical, Textile department, faculties, and students compete against each other in a cricket match. The 5 days tournament took place in the Shaheed Suhrawardy medical college playground started from 11 February 2023 to 15 February 2023.
The tournament started with an opening ceremony, where the participating teams marched in, and the event was inaugurated by the honorable Principal sir of BCI Md.Tarikul Islam. The participating teams were divided into groups, and each team in a group played against each others. The top teams from each qualified for the knockout stage.
The tournament also included other activities and events such as live music performances, food stalls, and interactive sessions related to BCI technology.
At the end of the tournament, a prize-giving ceremony was organized to felicitate the winning team and recognize the best performers of the tournament. The ceremony was attended by the institute's authorities, faculty, staff, and students. The winning team received a trophy and other prizes, and the best performers of the tournament were recognized with awards such as the best batsman, best bowler, and player of the tournament.
